The streets of New Orleans echo with a rhythmic sound and warm hearted locals. The night begins early on Halloween with a group of neighborhood kids marching up Roman street chanting 'rain rain, go away' in the thick of a storm. The downtown streets begin to flood with mischiefs, punks, vodouists, pirates, ghouls, witches and winos. High school music teachers along with some students armed with brass and percussion play late into the night in a crowded corner bar. Swaying from side to side, the crowd follows in succession. The sound of wild animals dominate the tightly packed streets just outside. A haze of alcohol and dimly lit blocks erase any sense of direction. Streets lose their names. The aftermath appears In the morning light.
