Butte, America // Montana // Berkely Pit

There's this place called Butte. In this place there is a pool containing over sixty billion gallons of acidic water ominously sitting above the town. There is a two dollar fee to visit this massive pool where five thousand feet of mining tunnels are frozen underneath. The buildings below were once booming with miners, tool smiths, copper, zinc, lead, labor organizations, brothels and wealth. Today this town is unknown to most and known to locals as Butte America, a place where you come to find a real, unfiltered American West. A place where beer is cheap and people are the opposite, quick to charm you with a slow warm speech.
